Walking tours from Cashel House
Set in the midst of Connemara there are
numerous marked trails and guided walks for guests to
enjoy close to Cashel House. There is also spectacular
hill climbing on the Twelve Pins of Connemara, which
dominate the local landscape. Although not terribly high
at just over seven hundred metres these mountains rise
up suddenly from the low expanse of peat bog and loughs
that characterise this part of Ireland. Guests can also
climb Cashel Hill which is just behind the Hotel and
can be accessed through our gardens and grounds.
We can arrange guided walks on any of the
Twelve Pins and all other areas of the Connemara Coast.
